Trusted pedicatric care for infants and children.

At Tri-County Family Medicine, we believe that a healthy start is the foundation for a healthy life. We are honored to be the trusted healthcare partner for families across Gun Barrel City, Henderson County and surrounding areas. Our dedicated team provides comprehensive, compassionate pediatric care for children of all ages—from their first newborn check-up to their journey through adolescence.
We understand that nothing is more important than your child’s health. Our goal is to build a lasting relationship with your family, offering expert guidance and support in a warm and welcoming environment.
We offer a full spectrum of care to support your child’s health and development at every stage.
Regular check-ups are essential for monitoring your child’s growth and development. These visits are a perfect time to discuss milestones, address any concerns, and build a strong foundation for lifelong wellness. We follow the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommended schedule for well-child visits.
When your child is sick, you want care you can count on. We reserve appointments each day for acute illnesses like colds, flu, ear infections, sore throats, and minor injuries, providing prompt care when your child needs it most.
Vaccinations are a safe and effective way to protect your child from serious diseases. We provide all recommended childhood and adolescent immunizations, including those required for school entry, and will guide you through the CDC-recommended schedule.
We provide ongoing, coordinated care for children managing chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, ADHD, and eczema, working closely with you to create a personalized treatment plan.
We offer a confidential and supportive space for teens and young adults to discuss their unique health needs, including routine physicals, acne treatment, and guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
As a family medicine practice, we offer the unique benefit of caring for your entire family. This allows us to understand your family’s complete health picture and provides seamless continuity of care as your child grows from an infant into an adult—all within the same trusted medical home.
Q: How often does my child need a well-child visit? A: Infants need frequent check-ups, typically at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months. After age 2, we recommend an annual wellness exam to monitor growth, development, and administer any needed vaccinations.
Q: What should I bring to my child’s first appointment? A: Please bring your child’s previous medical records, including their complete immunization history, and your insurance card. It’s also helpful to write down any questions or concerns you have beforehand.
Q: Do you have separate waiting areas for sick and well children? A: We take every precaution to ensure the safety of our patients. Please inform our staff when you are scheduling if your child has symptoms of a contagious illness, and we will advise you on our current office procedures.
We are currently accepting new pediatric patients and would be delighted to welcome your family to our practice.
